Tomorrowland expands 2026 China festival into two-day experience

The festival returns for its third Shanghai edition this October

Tomorrowland has shared details of its upcoming China festival, which will expand to take place across two days for its 2026 edition.

The festival, dubbed The Magic of Tomorrowland, will return to Shanghai’s Hero Dome and expand from its previous one-day format into a two-day experience this year. It’s set to take place on 17th, 18th October, with the line-up of local and international artists to be announced at a later date.

Debby Wilmsen, spokesperson for Tomorrowland, said: “We are excited to bring The Magic of Tomorrowland back to Shanghai for a new experience. The enthusiasm from fans in China and across Asia has been incredible, and we look forward to welcoming even more people into the world of Tomorrowland this year.”

Full ticket information for The Magic of Tomorrowland will be announced in August, but you can pre-register for access to tickets via the INS Land app and INS Land WeChat Mini Program.

Dimitri Vegas, Amelie Lens, Chris Lorenzo, Andromedik, and more played the inaugural The Magic of Tomorrowland in Shanghai last October.

Last week, Tomorrowland announced the set times for its 2026 Belgian festival , taking place next month, with the likes of David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Calvin Harris all billed for headline sets.

Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia were recently announced as headliners of the inaugural Tomorrowland Thailand , taking place in December in Wisdom Valley.
