SoundCloud is opening a direct publishing route for music made with the ElevenMusic app, the AI music generation platform from ElevenLabs, allowing creators to send AI-generated tracks to the streaming platform without exporting and uploading them manually.

Tracks uploaded through the integration will carry a label identifying ElevenMusic as their source, making the use of AI visible to listeners. SoundCloud also prohibits AI-generated content that misleads audiences about its origins or creators, including music that impersonates other artists.

“SoundCloud has always been a place where artists experiment, push boundaries, and turn creative ideas into something bigger,” said Eliah Seton, CEO of SoundCloud.

ElevenLabs, best known for its AI voice technology , entered the music market in 2025 with its first music generation model. In April, it launched ElevenMusic as a standalone app, allowing users to create songs from lyrics, melodies, or moods, as well as remix tracks by other artists.

“We built ElevenMusic to help more artists create, experiment and reach their fans,” said Mati Staniszewski, CEO and cofounder of ElevenLabs. “Music creation and discovery belong together and now, with SoundCloud, that music can reach even more audiences and communities.”

For SoundCloud, the agreement is part of a broader effort to bring AI tools into its platform. Last month, it partnered with Moises, an app used to edit existing music, and it already has an agreement with Google’s Flow Music.
