Defqon.1 share 2026 Endshow filmed without audience after heatwave cancellation: Watch

Defqon.1 has shared its 2026 Endshow video online after an extreme heatwave forced organisers to cancel last weekend’s festival.
Despite the cancellation, organisers Q-dance staged the 26-minute closing ceremony on the empty grounds, with the broadcast now available to watch via Youtube. The video shows the Dutch festival’s main stage lit by extensive lighting production and an overhead fireworks display, set to music from Bass Modulators, JDX and D-Block & S-te-Fan.
Previewing the Endshow's premiere on Instagram, Defqon.1 said: “Some moments are too sacred to remain unseen. After everything that happened last weekend, we knew we couldn't leave this chapter unfinished. So, on the empty Holy Grounds, we brought The Endshow to life and captured every moment.
“This chapter of Defqon.1 may not have unfolded as we imagined, but our story is far from over... Our journey continues in 2027 from June 24th to June 27th, when we return to the Holy Grounds we call home. We’ll be back stronger than ever.”
Defqon.1 2026 was cancelled last Friday (26th June) while many festivalgoers were already on site preparing for the weekend. The decision followed a red weather warning for extreme heat, the first of its kind in the Netherlands. Organisers initially restricted entry for Friday and Saturday day ticket holders to reduce numbers on site during the hottest period, but the measures proved insufficient and the full festival was eventually called off.
Over 350 hardstyle and hard dance artists were booked to perform at Defqon.1 2026, including Brennan Heart, Showtek, Sub Zero Project, Angerfist, Hysta, Anime, Miss K8, and many more.
