The project has recruited Liz Meriwether, best known as the creator of New Girl, as the writer. The news comes via The Hollywood Reporter , and Universal have not yet offered a comment. The audiobook version of The Woman In Me became the fastest-selling in Simon & Schuster's history, and it was narrated by actress Michelle Williams, who starred on the FX comedy drama miniseries Dying For Sex , which Meriwether also worked on.
This is much better news than the last time we heard about Spears, which involved a DUI and offering police officers lasagna .
