Venezuela earthquake relief fundraising compilation released, ‘PULSO I’
The 36-track ‘PUSLO I’ collection will direct donations to Fundación Proyecto Maniapure with two more benefit volumes to come
A new compilation has been released raising funds to support disaster relief after two earthquakes hit northern Venezuela in late June.
‘PULSO I (An Electronic Music Benefit Compilation for Venezuela Earthquake Relief)’ features 36 tracks from the likes of DJ Babatr , Rainmaker, Bclip, Pablo Mayorga, AMANTRA, DJ Maybe, Freebot, Confidential Recipe, and more.
“The music gathered in this compilation is not intended to function as a promotional showcase, but as a fundraising tool,” the Bandcamp description reads. “The coordinating team has decided to remain in the background and work without central figures or individual leadership, with the aim of keeping the focus on the emergency, the destination of the funds, and the transparency of the process.”
100% of net proceeds (all profits after Bandcamp and payment processing fees) will be donated to Fundación Proyecto Maniapure , currently active in the affected city of La Guaira, near Caracas. Though Fundación has connections to the United Nations and OCHA Venezuela, the PULSO team clarifies its relationship is exclusively with Fundación Proyecto Maniapure.
“Maniapure was selected due to its active medical presence in La Guaira, where it currently has a team deployed to provide emergency care and support the acquisition, transport, and distribution of medical supplies and medicines,” the description reads.
The team have also shared a direct donation link , and will provide updates on contributions through a public Transparency Drive .
PULSO plans to release two further volumes of the benefit compilation series, gathering nearly 100 contributing artists in total. Receiving organisations will be determined as ongoing relief efforts needs arise.

More than 3,500 people have been killed in the two consecutive 7.2-plus magnitude earthquakes on 24th June, with over 16,740 people injured and 17,854 displaced from housing, as per Al Jazeera . 80 shelters in the significantly affected cities Caracas and La Guaira are looking after more than 12,800 people.
Miami venues Club Space and UK label Solid Grooves have announced donation drives to support relief on the ground in Venezuela.
