Pitbull Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Gathering of People in Bald Caps

Miami rapper Pitbull set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps on July 10th at BST Festival in London’s Hyde Park, at which he was a headliner. The official count was 22, 141 people in bald caps, according to the records organization, which made the achievement official recently.

Pitbull was among the bald-cap wearers despite his hairless head. The record was for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps, not bald people, you see.

“It’s a blessing and an honor to see all the Bald Es,” Pitbull said, referencing his nickname for his fans, in an interview during the award ceremony with British radio personality Jamie Laing and podcaster and cultural commentator Jack Remmington. Remmington, a Pitbull fan, got the record attempt off the ground with a TikTok video last year that blew up in which he presented the idea of people cosplaying as the Miami Rapper at BST Festival to set a world record.

For the official count, 400 volunteers clocked bald-cap wearers and 42 drones captured video for other counters to use for the tally, The Guardian reported .
