UAE venture launches $100m fund to build integrated longevity ecosystem

Nova Capital Enterprises and Metamorph have launched a $100 million joint venture to unify the fragmented wellness sector, signaling a shift toward treating longevity as a macroeconomic strategy.

Nova Capital Enterprises and Metamorph have announced a joint venture to launch a UAE-based wellness and longevity investment platform. The partnership is backed by an initial $100 million pipeline, which the founders expect to expand beyond $200 million over time.

The initiative aims to solve the fragmentation of the current wellness industry, where consumers juggle separate apps for sleep, fitness, nutrition, and medical diagnostics. Rather than backing isolated businesses, the platform will invest across preventive health, recovery, and social wellbeing to create a single connected experience.

This move reflects a broader economic shift. The Global Wellness Institute values the wellness economy at $6.8 trillion in 2024, projecting it to reach $9.8 trillion by 2029. Investors increasingly view longevity not merely as a biotechnology niche, but as a systemic transformation affecting consumer services, real estate, and preventive medicine.

“Wellness and longevity are no longer niche ideas; they are becoming central to how people live, work, recover, age and participate in society,” said Abudulla Al Nasser H Al Mansoori, Chairman at Al Nasser Holdings. He noted the partnership represents a long-term commitment to a sector defining the next generation of human performance.

The core ambition is shifting consumers from “episodic consumption to continuous wellbeing.” However, this presents a distinct challenge: avoiding wellness fatigue. If platforms demand too much attention through constant notifications and dashboards, healthier living risks becoming a burden rather than a seamless habit.

“The shift is from reactive services to preventive health span, from episodic consumption to continuous wellbeing, and from fragmented offerings to integrated platforms,” said Manish Raniga, Managing Partner and co-founder of Metamorph. To achieve this, the platform will use artificial intelligence to interpret health data and tailor programs quietly in the background.

The venture also aligns with wider UAE economic strategies. Dubai has established a Longevity Authority, and Abu Dhabi introduced Healthy Longevity standards to encourage responsible innovation. Across the Gulf, investing in prevention is a direct response to the healthcare pressures of chronic metabolic diseases.

For European markets and global investors, the implication is clear. The competition in longevity is shifting from selling standalone products to building trusted, decades-long ecosystems. Whether this $100 million bet can simplify healthy aging without overwhelming the consumer will determine the future of the sector.
