Danzig are set to reissue their ninth studio album Deth Red Sabaoth on August 21st via Cleopatra Records.

The reissue comes amidst skyrocketing prices for physical editions of the 2010 album, with most copies going for over $100 regardless of format, including the quite recent 2022 repressing.

Deth Red Sabaoth was Danzig’s comeback record after six years away as the players performed other projects. It was well-received at the time, comparing it favorable to the iconic initial three-album run by the doomy, bluesy heavy metal project. It saw them return to the sound they forged on those early albums, abandoning the industrial and contemporary influences they had accrued over the years.

The new reissue of Deth Red Sabaoth will be available in a number of vinyl colors including black, black/red haze, and blood splatter horror swirl. The album will also be offered in CD , cassette , and a limited edition of black vinyl test printings for an eye-popping $750 .

Danzig are currently preparing for a run of shows to take place in September featuring Twin Temple, Burning Witches, and ANA as support. Get tickets here .
