The song is good, too. "The Hardest Thing" follows " Get Away From Me (I Think I'll Love You Soon) " and " I Wish ," the two previous singles from Jacklin's upcoming album The Gem . It's a sunny, laid-back chug with a big, shiny chorus: "The hardest thing to do is believe it when you say, 'I love you.'" It's got an easy car-radio grace that reminds me of Tom Petty.
