Wisconsin fuzz-pop artist Graham Hunt made his name with no-budget home recordings, but he went bigger with his forthcoming LP American Pyramid , recording most of it with an eight-piece band at Minnesota's stories Pachyderm Studios. Hunt's new track "Guardian Angel's Arms" is a lush, twinkly indie pop tune about a psychedelic vision. It's fun to hear him increasing his sonic scope, but the song still has the idiosyncratic intimacy of his older records.
