Remi Wolf Announces New Album Mud

Remi Wolf was, by the sound of things, having a rough time of it. Before she recorded her new album Mud, out October 9 via Island, the California singer-producer says, “ I literally felt like I was covered in shit. And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear.” Below, check out Mud ’s cover art and watch a beachy new video for its opening track, “ Bottle .”
Wolf returned last month with “ Twiggy ,” her first single in the two years since her last album, Big Ideas . She had debuted the track the previous weekend during a surprise appearance at Hayley Williams’ Newport Folk Festival set . “I wrote ‘Twiggy’ about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability,” she said of the single.
