Eris Drew and Octo Octa announce debut album as Alchemical Sisters
The self-titled project will be released via Interdimensional Transmissions on 18th October
Eris Drew and Octo Octa have announced their debut album under their collaborative Alchemical Sisters moniker.
The eight-track, self-titled LP will arrive via Interdimensional Transmissions on 18th October, marking the duo’s first full-length release under the name following their 2021 remix of Special Interest’s ‘Disco III’.
Produced over the course of a year from a studio the duo built inside their home in the New Hampshire forest, the record was created using dulcimers and other ancestral instruments alongside turntables, vintage machines, and more. It explores “psychedelic chaos, acid rollers and big beat”, according to a press release.
The pair later took the record to BMG in Detroit, where it was mixed over two weeks using “high-end hardware for ecstatically euphonic results”.
Interdimensional Transmissions described the album as a “full circle moment”, with the label also set to host Alchemical Sisters’ debut live performance at its Samhain XXVI event in October.

The album follows Eris Drew’s entry into the ‘DJ-Kicks’ mix series , which came out last summer, along with Octo Octa’s latest album, ‘ Sigils For Survival ’, released earlier this year.
Octo Octa also contributed the original track ‘ Cabin Dance ’ to Drew’s ‘DJ-Kicks’ mix.
