Charli XCX to donate portion of tour ticket sales to Transgender Law Center
The UK star announced her North American ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ tour earlier this week
Charli XCX will donate a portion of proceeds from her upcoming Music, Fashion Film US tour to the Transgender Law Center.
As reported by NME , 50% of ticket revenue from the first five rows at each show will go directly to the organisation, which advocates for the rights of transgender and non-binary people across the United States. The 12-date arena tour is set to kick off on 11th September at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, and wrap up in Las Vegas on 23rd October.
The UK star has also announced that there will be a limited number of $20 “angel tickets” available for each date, with details to follow in August.
Charli XCX’s new album, ‘Music, Fashion, Film’, the follow-up to the award-winning ‘brat’ and the ‘Wuthering Heights’ soundtrack, is set for release on 24th July. The album’s second single, ‘SS26’, was shared in May, accompanied by a music video directed by TORSO.
Earlier this year, Charli XCX starred in A24 mockumentary, The Moment , scored by A.G Cook. She’s also set to star in and produce a project with horror director, Takashi Miike .
