Fred again.. and PinkPantheress added to GTA 6 soundtrack
Rockstar will release the long-awaited game on 19th November, alongside an accompanying soundtrack album
Fred again.. and PinkPantheress have hinted that their music will feature in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Both artists took to Instagram this week to share the same digitally rendered image of a yacht, styled in line with GTA’s distinctive visuals, seemingly teasing their involvement in the soundtrack for the long-awaited game. You can see their posts below.
PinkPantheress' involvement has since been confirmed with the release of a new single, ‘Sexy Magic’, which you can hear below. A post announcing the track on the pinkpantheressworld Instagram also tagged Fred again.., Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, and Étienne de Crécy, further hinting at those artists' contribution to the soundtrack.
Other artists who have shared GTA-related images on social media this week include Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Rauw Alejandro, and Yung Lean.
Rockstar Games previously offered a glimpse of GTA 6’s soundtrack in a 26-minute gameplay teaser released via Netflix last month . The trailer featured music from Jayda G and Aluna (‘Mine O Mine’), Depeche Mode (‘People Are People’), and Elderbrook and Bob Moses (‘Inner Light’), with all three tracks appearing set to feature in the game.
The latest instalment of the Grand Theft Auto series follows 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V, making it the longest wait between games in the franchise. According to rumours circulating online, GTA 6 has already racked up more than $3 billion in pre-orders.
