Klein Surprise Releases New Album My Own Fairytale
The 12 ambient-classical songs are out now
Klein has shared a new suite of ambient music. The London composer and vocalist released My Own Fairytale today through her Parkwuud Entertainment label, and also dropped a music video for the LP’s ghostly track, “Man in the Mirror.” Watch that below.
My Own Fairytale is described in a press statement as Klein’s “take on a dark Disney soundtrack.” Comprising 12 mostly instrumental songs, the record melds spectral ambient, high-drama classical, and the noise guitar of Klein’s 2025 album, Sleep With a Cane. The album includes one feature, a collaboration with violinist and composer Sasha Scott, who co-wrote and arranged “Siren Reloaded” for the London Sinfonietta.
Earlier this year, the prolific artist released a stream of singles, some of which make it to My Own Fairytale, in addition to Turn Up , a YouTube-only joint EP with Mica Levi.
