This year marks the 10th anniversary of the beloved La La Land. In celebration, the film will be screened across the world with full orchestra and jazz bands playing Justin Hurwitz’s unforgettable score to screen.
The concert series produced by Hurwitz Concerts and promises a focus on all of the “vivid musical moments central to the film, including “the unbelievable piano solos…” North American dates include shows in Vancouver, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Mexico City, San Antonio, and San Francisco. Released in December 2016, La La Land stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as two star-crossed lovers who embark on a musical-tinged affair across L.A. At the 89th Academy Awards, the film walked away with six of its 14 total nominations: Best Director, Best Actress (for Stone), Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Original Song (“City of Stars”), and Best Production Design.
