Liverpool return to Champions League action with a trip to Fenerbahce on Wednesday evening.

Andoni Iraola’s side will be looking to bounce back from a frustrating defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.

The Spaniard has made a habit of rotating his side for clashes in Europe and it has so far worked with Liverpool winning all three of their Champions League fixtures so far.

That includes wins over Atletico Madrid, LASK and Villarreal. So it’ll be interesting to see what lineup he names against a physical Fenerbahce side.

Ryan Gravenberch’s lack of involvement from the bench in the defeat to Arsenal pointed towards another start in Europe for the Dutchman.

However, the club have confirmed that he will miss out with a heel injury.

In a statement on the club’s official website , it was confirmed: “Gravenberch was ruled out of the Champions League game away to Fenerbahce on November 4 due to a heel injury. The midfielder did not travel to Turkiye, instead remaining at the AXA Training Centre to undergo treatment with the club’s medical team.”

It remains to be seen whether he will be involved in Liverpool’s final game before the international break, which is against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The club have also confirmed the travelling squad for the clash with Fenerbahce tomorrow.

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman.

Defenders: Ronald Araujo, Joe Gomez, Jeremy Jacquet, Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez, Kostas Tsimikas, Luke Chambers.

Midfielders: Alexis Mac Allister, Trey Nyoni, Dominik Szoboszlai, Florian Wirtz, James McConnell.

Attackers: Cody Gakpo, Victor Munoz, Rio Ngumoha, Alexander Isak, Bradley Barcola, Lewis Koumas, Jayden Danns.
