Novation announces Launchkey 88 MIDI controller
The largest controller in Novation's MK4 range to date
The Launchkey 88 is the largest controller in the MK4 range to date. It builds on the features of the Launchkey 49 and 61 with 88 semi-weighted keys spanning more than seven octaves and custom control for the following DAWs: Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, Bitwig and Ardour.
The piano-style controller also comes with built-in composition tools like Scale Modes and Chord Map mode, as well as the standard MK4 features including 16 velocity-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch and nine faders.

Last year, plug-in developers GForce released an emulation of Novation's classic Bass Station synth , which was originally popularised by artists such as Apollo 440 and RZA. Also in 2025, Native Instruments (NI) brought in Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) to a range of external brands, including Novation .
